19 Feb 1839 Book 14, page 166 – 167 James Cline of Cabarrus County, NC — no wife signs — lets Jacob Right of Cabarrus County, NC have 76 acres next Jacob Hileman on the waters of Cold Water Creek and on both sides of the great Road leading from Salisbury to Concord for $200. Witnessed by Alexander Patterson and proved by Martin Shive in April 1839.

page 550-551 James Cline of Cabarrus County, NC –no wife signs– lets John Heilman, Joseph Cook, John L. Shinn, Thomas Heilman, Allison File and Robbison File, officers of the German Reformed Church known as Mount Gilead have one acre 1/4 and half a quarter (1.375) for $8.75. Right of School House Spring adjoining James Cline on west side of the new Salisbury Road and the meeting house lot. Wit: Jacob Heilaman, Alfred Blackwelder. Prvd by: J. W.Scott, clk on 16 Aug 1855.

Sloop & Dr. M. A. J. Roseman, for $200.00, unless they repay the money, witnessed by P. S. Sloop & acknowledged on the same day.
05 March 1880 Book 57 page 281 Frances Sides lets James Cline (both of —) have her half interest in 110 acres next Michael Bostian, for $1.00, witnessed by J. M. Long & C. A. Basinger & proved by the latter on March 23 1880. (One quarter of this tract descended to her as an heir of Philip Caster while the other quarter had descended to P.A. Caster who was another of said Philip Caster).

14 Sept 1891 Book 74 page 68 Margaret S. Suther lets Louisa I? Lyerly–both of Rowan Co. N.C. — have 171 acres on Schoolhouse Branch next the creek, —Harrison (formerly —Owens) but excepts the 100 acres which had been conveyed to D.A. Suther leaving 71 acres, for $325.00, witnessed by J. W. Mauney & acknowleged on Sept. 18 1891. (Refer to books 65 page 62, 44 page 286, 67 page 134).

N.C.) have 100 acres in Steele Township near the north bank of Back Creek on Schoolhouse Branch, for $600.00, witnessed by J. K. Graham & acknowledged on May 6 1895. (This is part of the land which James Cline let W. S. Suther have — see Book 65 page 62).
